Little Americas Flair

Flair

When I decided to go into the Miniature horses from the full size horses; little did I realize that Flair was going to bring so much happiness in my life.

Flair was foaled in Texas 5/29/90 at Little Americas Miniatures, Tony Greaves is the breeder and owner. Tony has some of the best-known and finest horses; his lines include Orion Light Vant Huttenest and Bond Dynamo.

Flair is an Orion Light Vant Huttenest grandson and he is a gelding.

It was so nice to meet Tony at the 2003 AMHA Nationals and the most important was he got to see Flair. It met so much to me when he came and watched all of Flair's classes. Flair made both of us proud when he was a Top Ten Hunter Horse, there were 40 horses in the class

Showing Flair is so awesome because he loves it as much as I do. He is a show-off and thinks he knows more than I do, don't tell him but he is right!! He is a wonderful performance gelding, because he does hunter, driving obstacle, halter obstacle, country pleasure driving and halter.

Flair has won several awards:

  • 2002 Reserve Champion Country Pleasure Driving at NWMHC Show
  • 2002 Hi Point Amateur at Evergreen Miniature Show
  • 2003 Top Ten Honor Roll - Amateur Obstacle Driving
  • 9 Top Tens in 2003 & 2004 at the AMHA Regional in Reno
  • 2003 Supreme Champion Amateur Halter at CWMHC Show
  • 2003 Top Ten Hunter at the AMHA Nationals
  • 2003 Driving Reserve Champion at Evergreen Miniature Horse Show
  • 2003 Reserve Amateur Hi Point at Evergreen Miniature Horse Show

Showing Flair has taught me so much and I'm so thankful to be his owner. I have a ten-year-old girl working for me and Flair is teaching her all about minis and how to do them. Flair likes teaching as much as showing.

Right now I'm showing Bo but sometime soon I will bring Flair to the show and let him do what he does best. Flair will always be the special horse in my life and he will always make me feel very proud of him!!

I love you Flair!
